What we collect
Release alerts store the email address and alert category you provide. Collector Pro waitlist entries may also include a first name, product interests, update cadence, and requested feature. Partner inquiries may include professional contact details, company information, website links, opportunity type, and the project description you submit.
What we do not request
Gun Editions does not ask consumers for firearm ownership details, intended purchases, government identification, payment information, home addresses, FFL records, or firearm-transfer information. Partner forms instruct businesses not to submit customer or other sensitive information.
How we use it
We use alert and waitlist information to operate requested updates and evaluate Collector Pro. Partner information is used to review and respond to industry inquiries, correct records, and discuss possible commercial relationships. Gun Editions does not sell submitted email addresses.
Retention and removal
Alert and waitlist records are retained while active. Partner inquiries are retained while being evaluated and for reasonable business recordkeeping. Marketing messages will include an unsubscribe method when delivery begins. Removal requests can be sent through the contact method published with the full launch.
Research data
The catalog contains public product information gathered from manufacturers, distributors, retailers, archived listings and industry publications. Source links and data-quality labels are provided where possible.
Commercial links and analytics
Gun Editions may use first-party analytics and tracked outbound links to measure catalog, partner, and retailer-link performance. Compensated placements and links are disclosed under our commercial standards. We do not use these tools to conduct firearm eligibility checks.
Changes
This policy will be updated as analytics, account tools, or additional data services are added. The effective date above will change when the policy materially changes.
